Innovation hub at NT-fak and Helsefak – InnoHub
The Innovation Hub (InnoHub) will be helping employees and students mature their ideas and build an innovative culture and innovation competence.
Have you discovered a need, thought of a solution, or do you simply have a great idea? InnoHub is UiT's meeting place for idea development, interdisciplinary collaboration, and solutions for the future. We connect students, researchers, and clinicians with experts and advisors in innovation and entrepreneurship. Our goal is to elevate ideas that can make a difference in society.
Through collaboration between the Faculty of Health Sciences, the Faculty of Science and Technology, and in partnership with Norinnova and the University Hospital of North Norway (UNN), InnoHub offers support, guidance, and networks to help you explore, develop, and realize innovation projects.
Who is InnoHub for?
We work especially with:
-
Students and young talents who want to explore their own ideas
-
Researchers and academic communities with research-based opportunities
-
Clinicians and healthcare professionals who see areas for improvement in clinical practice
Additionally, we collaborate with actors from the public sector and from industry - to strengthen the innovation journey.
You can find us in the Science and Health Library at the MH-building (level 6) from the autumn of 2026.
