We encourage everyone to join us at Tromsøbadet, the local sauna and swimming center, for a refreshing start to your day — just like the locals do!
The conference fee does not cover the trip to Tromsøbadet. From the city center you will need to take a bus or taxi to the location (buses 20 and 24, stop at Templarheimen). If you are staying at the guesthouse, it is an easy walk. Tickets must be purchased individually at the ticket counter, either by card or cash, at your convenience.
Please note that the price is not 125 NOK due to the Winter Break pricing – the price will be 250 NOK.
Relax in the sauna and enjoy the warm, soothing atmosphere.
Take a swim in 15 various pools with different temperature, which cater to all levels of swimmers.
Swimsuit, soap, shampoo, towel
Soap and shampoo can be purchased at the entrance.
Swimsuits may also be available for purchase at the entrance, but sizes may be limited, so it’s best to bring your own if possible.
While a swim cap and flip-flops are not required, you are welcome to use them if you prefer.
7:00 a.m.: Tore and Laura will meet participants at the reception area of Tromsøbadet (inside by the entrance).
NB! If you arrive after 7:00 a.m., simply proceed on your own to the changing rooms, take a shower, and head into the swimming area.
7:00–8:00 a.m.: Tore and Laura will be inside the swimming area.
8:30–9:00 a.m.: We will take a walk together to the UiT campus.
