EXHIBITION OPENING | Miracles of Nature

Wednesday September 17th at 18.00 (6PM) we welcome you to join as the temporary outdoor exhibition "Miracles of Nature" opens at The Arctic University Museum of Norway, marking the first day of Forskningsdagene 2025.

The exhibition wishes to make the intangible tangible. It wishes to connect humans with the environment, our role and entwined relationship to our surroundings and how our actions, perceptions, worldviews, dreams for the future shapes our surrounding world. It wishes to bring forward the delicate interconnection we humans have with greenhouse gases and ecosystem services by visualising how these are entwined with landscapes, snow, ice, women, youth, knowledge, infrastructure, fisheries, development, cultural heritage etc. and how our futures impact and depend on this fragile interaction.

The exhibition is made in connection with the EU project GreenFeeBack. It is lead by Ann Eileen Lennert, photografer Luca Berti, scriber Nikki Schmidt. Is was first shown at Festspillene in Northern Norway collaboration with  Senter for Arktisk Humaniora and has since then been traveling with One Ocean.

Opens Wednesday September 17th at 18.00 (6PM), and will be shown outdoors at The Arctic University Museum of Norway during Forskningsdagene 2025 from September 17th- 29th.

As the opening takes place outdoors, please dress appropriately for the weather.

At 19.00 (7PM) you are welcome to join the event Vin&Viten | Living in or with nature? Hoow the Arctic shapes people - and people shape the Arctic in the museum café.
