Stones, stories & geontologies – a conversation around árran

Gathering around the árran, participants and stones come together in a space for storytelling, listening, and reflection. Through dialogue, mapping, and collective listening, we trace relations between digital technologies, land, minerals, and lived worlds, moving between the deep time of stone, the accelerated rhythms of technology, and the enduring traces of extraction and waste.
How might we listen to the stones, places, and stories beneath the surface of our digital worlds?
Hosted by Siv Årsand, PhD researcher at the University of Oslo.Part of A Materials Library of Stones, an ongoing research project exploring the minerals, landscapes, and material relations behind digital technology
