Environmental humanities gathering #68: Object-based conversation and lunch with Scott Nielsen (Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador, CA)

As part of a UArctic Environmental Humanities North2North exchange between UiT and Memorial, we welcome Scott Nielsen to an informal conversation and lunch. All welcome!
The UiT Environmental Humanities Research Group is delighted to welcome Dr Scott Nielsen from Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador and the UArctic Environmental Humanities Thematic Network.
In this event, Scott will lead an informal object-based discussion with the view to getting to know people at UiT who are interested in or working with the Environmental Humanities with a view to future exchanges, collaborations, and just getting to know each other. Afterwards, we will eat lunch together.
Scott's research into indegenous archeology, his work with indigenous communities, his Laboratory for Applied Archaeological Research and Community Heritage (LARCH), his work on decolonisation, repatriation, critical theory, and more are all very relevant not only to research group members but also to many people at UiT. Come along with your ideas, curiousity, and creativity.
(There is also a more formal seminar with Scott the day before at the Centre for Sámi Studies: tavla page here.)
