We are pleased to welcome resarchers Liliia Hebryn-Baidy and Sophie Weeks from University of Cambridge, who will present the multidisciplinary project Hotter Arctic cities: mitigating Urban Heat Islands with spatial data, community insights, and sustainable solutions.
Agenda
This event will provide a platform for UiT staff and students to engage with the Heat Watchers Project, fostering collaboration and advancing research on urban heat islands in Arctic cities. The event has a broad target group, and the project would like to engage people working in community science, remote sensing, technology and engineering, environmental monitoring, planning, indigenus methodologies, and education.
