đż Multispecies dementia lab: An invitation to explore together đż

Dear friends in the Environmental Humanities,
The Artful Dementia Research Lab (ADLab) warmly invites you to join us for an experimental session on the emerging field of multispecies dementia studies. This is a unique opportunity to come together, spark connections, and dream up new ideas at the crossroads of critical dementia studies and climate research.
Dragana Lukic will begin with an introduction to the ADLab, followed by a some insights from her doctoral study from 2025. The focus of the presentation will be on how this work is now branching into the exciting realm of multispecies dementia studies. To set the stage for deeper thoughts, Dragana will also share a series of short, thought-provoking videos designed to inspire lively discussions.
But this is no ordinary session! The experimental part begins right after the presentations and continues in the gym, to gather ideas, move, and imagine future research proposals.
What to bring: We’d love for you to bring along songs or sounds that resonate with the theme of climate change—something that moves you, inspires you, or makes you think deeply about our shared worlds under extinction.
