Welcome to the sixth meeting of the UiT Environmental Humanities Research Group's Deleuze and Guattari reading group! We will meet to discuss the sixth chapter of A Thousand Plateaus, titled "November 28, 1947: How Do You Make Yourself a Body without Organs?" A pdf of the text is here. No prior experience with the text is necessary - the chapters are stand-alone and can be read in any order. This reading group is open to all. If you wish to participate, please email Kate Maxwell at Kate.Maxwell@uit.no in advance if you can, or just show up on the day, and think of a passage that you would like the group to discuss.
The meeting is in-person only, and will take place in SV HUM E1004.
