Research Visit of researchers from UiT, Norway to BITS Pilani, Hyderabad, India

The BEaM- Energy and Environmental Research Group, UiT Narvik led by Prof. Rajnish Kaur Calay is currently engaging with partner institutions in India under the BRIDGE project to strengthen academic collaboration and student mobility.
As part of this engagement, a recent visit to BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus included discussions with Prof. Sanket Goel on developing structured student mobility pathways and aligning research strengths between institutions.
This collaboration builds on ongoing outcomes from the project. In the previous year, two early career researchers, Yuvraj Maphrio Mao and Ritesh Kumar Singh from BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, undertook research visits to UiT- The Arctic University of Norway, Narvik. These exchanges resulted in successful collaborative publications, demonstrating the tangible impact of sustained research mobility.
During the visit, our team member Somil Thakur, Ph.D. also had the chance to visit Dr Milind Kulkarni, Centre Head, Centre for Materials for Electronics Technology (C-MET), Pune.
