Job description

Jeg forsker på hvordan menneskeskapte forstyrrelser, inkludert klima- og arealbruksendringer, påvirker artssammensetning, mangfold og distribusjon i naturlige økosystemer. Som i datamaskiner, der endringer i enkelte komponenter vil påvirke funksjonaliteten deres, vil også de pågående endringene i arter påvirke måten naturen fungerer på, inkludert dens mange tjenester som vi er sterkt avhengige av. Jeg analyserer også hvordan artsegenskaper (funksjonelle egenskaper) og endringer i biologisk mangfold kan påvirke økosystemtjenester og funksjoner.

Jeg fokusere mest på koblingen på tvers av økosystemer, som i mellon ferskvann og terrestrisk økosystemer.
