GAMES for SUSTAINABILITY
GAMES for SUSTAINABILITY investigates innovative and critical approaches to sustainability.
GAMES for SUSTAINABILITY encompasses several initiatives targeting students, academics, tourists, and tourism operators, including the development of a board game on sustainable tourism; the creation of a humorous comic strip that critically engages with sustainability practices within academia, and the application of art and digital technologies to foster reflection on the use of animals in tourism.
Project collaborators include PhD candidate Sara Lupini; Dr Lucia Tomassini, Senior Research Lecturer at the Hotel Management School Leeuwarden, NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences, The Netherlands; co-leader of the ATLAS Special Interest Group on Animals in Tourism, Hospitality and Leisure); Dr Heike I. Vester, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Biosciences and Aquaculture, Nord University (Norway), and Founder and Director of Ocean Sounds (Norway/Germany).
